Generally, in these cases, the college tends to provide some time for the submission of the caste certificate. This is very common that the issuing of these certificate gets late from the government office only. Thus if you have caste certificate of any of your parents, that may convince them and there are high chances that they will give you a certain time for submitting the document. You might have to talk to them and if possible, try to take the application number and the acknowledgment slip of applying for your convenience.
