Hey there!

To get a Phd in Legal studies you need to have a degree in law and an M. Phil or postgraduate degree in legal studies. Someone who has a degree in law and a PhD in any field is eligible as well or someone who's been a judge with a minimum aggregate of 55% with 5% relaxation in some institutes for reservation categories. The admission is merit based, different universities conduct their examinations and along with that you are to submit your thesis proposal and go through an interview. Some great colleges to consider are HNLU Raipur, Indian Law institute New Delhi, Alliance College Bengaluru and Amity University Noida.
