The Services Preparatory Institute happens to be  a public military school in Aurangabad that trains selected candidates from Maharashtra for permanent commission in the Armed Forces for joining Indian Army and Indian Navy.

The gateway to 60 seats in SPI is through the entrance exam that the institute conducts annually.
