I hope you are doing well. I think you are asking for specialization in Civil or criminal law. It is important to note that your law degree has nothing to do with your subjects in B.A.

Next, as far as the question of specialization is concerned go for honours in LLB. Also, IGNOU does not offer LLB and if somehow they managed to offer this, it is not recognized by Bar Council Of India.

In the case of Civil Law, there is no punishment like Criminal Law, but the aggrieved party receives the compensation and the dispute gets settled..

A criminal litigation is more serious than civil litigation in that criminal defendants have more rights and protections than a civil defendant..
