Hello,

Marine Engineering is the branch that deals with the maintenance and operations of vessels. Marine engineers basically get trained in operation, repair and maintenance of machinery on board merchant navy ships and commercial cruise liners.

B.Tech in Marine Engineering is a 4-year duration course. Many Engineering colleges in India offer UnderGraduate courses in Marine Engineering.

For admission you must have scored a minimum of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics at the 10+2 level with English as a compulsory subject.

Admission to IITs is conducted through JEE Main exam.
