Hello ayush,

To become a software engineer ,you can choose the two options 1)btech ,cs 2)IT

Since ,both of the courses provide basics and advancement knowledge in software skills and clearcut concepts on programmimg.

To be more effective, btech in cs is good to become a well programmed software engineer .

Thank you

If you want to become a software engineer then I think you should choose BTech in Computer Science and Engineering because it offers you not only a complete learning of the materials required for software engineering but also will provide you an extra mileage over other degrees because BTech is recognised all over the country as an engineering degree and most of the college which provide B tech degree have decent tie up with corporate world and will provide the opportunity to get placed from the campus itself while BCA is not that much effective because it is not as much recognised as BTech therefore you should choose BTech over other.

Hello,Both BCA and BTech are very popular courses in India. While B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering focuses on intensive programming, developing new technologies and concepts, and mathematical skills, BCA focuses more on practical technologies and applications used in daily life. BTech is more about developing concepts and testing them, whereas BCA is the study of putting these concepts to use.If you have completed your 10+2 with PCM and you think you can crack one of the engineering entrance exams, then BTech is a good choice. However, if you have passed your 10+2 in Commerce, Art or Medical stream, but you have decided to shift your focus to IT, your only option is a BCA.Both BCA and BTech graduates are industry-ready and can seek employment in IT industry or other related fields. However, BTech is a more professionally valued course, and there are more career options available for BTech graduates compared to BCA graduates. Nonetheless, BCA graduates can also pursue a MCA degree (3-year course), get the engineer tag, and better their career prospects. As far as the course fee is concerned, the cost of BCA is lesser than BTech. However, because a BCA graduate must do a MCA to match a BTech graduate, the overall cost of professional education may is higher for a BCA graduate.Hope this helps you!All the best!
