No,you are not eligible for UPSC NDA examination right in 10th class you must have completed your 12th to join air force after 12th please read furthur

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.

  • ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
    • Age - 16 1/2 to 19 1/2 years(at the time of commencement of course)
    • Nationality – Indian
    • Gender - Men and Women
    • Educational Qualifications - 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.
  • ADVERTISEMENT SCHEDULE
    • Visit www.upsc.gov.in (http://www.upsc.gov.in/)
  • Branches
    • The entry through NDA is open for Flying branch, Ground duty (tech) and Ground duty(non tech). All cadets of Flying branch and Ground duty (tech) would be offered B Tech in NDA and cadets of Ground duty (Non-tech) would be offered B Sc degree.

According to the eligibility guidelines of NDA exam

According to the UPSC notification 2022, candidates between the age group of 16.5 to 19.5 years must have passed class 12th.Nationality - Indian .Age Limit - Applicants born between July 2, 2003, to July 1, 2006 are eligible. Educational Qualification - Passed 12th standard with maths and physics.

So you need to pass class 12 to appear for the exam.You cam start preparing for it from now.You can visit the link to know more

Greetings!

NDA exam is conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) every year. For this exam, you must have passed 10+2 with physics and maths as mandatory subject. You must be an indian .

You cannot appear for nda exam now. However you can start preparations for this exam now onwards as it is quite competitive. You can also have more details about this exam by visiting-

Dear Student,

The minimum eligibility to appear for NDA exam is after passing 10+2. Also there are some other eligibility criteria mentioned below:

  • Academic- For Indian Air force: passed 12th exam with Physics and math from  a recognized board
  • Age- for NDA 2022 part 1, the candidate should born between July 2, 2003, to July 1, 2006
  • Marital Status- Should be Unmarried
  • Nationality and physical standards are also there
