You will have to give UPSC CSE examination to become DC.

After clearing APSC you can get these post:

DSP, Excise Officer, Food Department officer, SDM and Class Tehshildar.

But to become a DC you will have to appear for Civil Services Exam and then you will have to get a rank under 100.
