i want to drop for second year to prepare for clat......is it advisable? since i think i am capable of doing so.

Students with age of 21 can also apply so np issues whatsoever in age for next year attempts. However going for year drop can be risky as this will create gap and you should also take up sone internships to fillup gap. 

Since you are taking two yeargap its not recommended although only jf you do some good courses in meanwhile into Legal and Go for Internships simultaneously else this will affect you with placements.
