Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET )is an all India online common entrance tests managed by the Indian Maritime University and is for everyone who wishes to join the coveted profession of Merchant Navy. A candidate can enroll for an undergraduate and postgraduate program under IMU CET. All the programs and courses are offered by IMU (Indian Maritime University)and its affiliated Institution.The  IMU CET exam will be conducted in June 1st week.

Eligibility Criteria IMU CET 2018

Anyone who wishes to apply for the IMU CET 2018, are required to check their eligibility and then only proceed further. The eligibility for criteria for IMU CET 2018 is as follows:-

Age Criteria / Limit:

Age LimitMinimum age17 years Maximum age 25 years on or before 1st August 2018Age Relaxation: 5 years for reserved category candidates Marital Status: Unmarried / Single

Qualification Criteria

For DNS:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination or B.Sc or BE/B.Tech (from IIT or college recognized by AICTE).Subjects: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM or B.Sc in PCM, Electronics with Physics as individual subject in one of the years.Minimum Marks: Minimum 60% marks (10+2/ equivalent examination) or not less than 50% marks (B.Sc& BE/B.Tech)

For B.Sc:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination.Subjects: Candidates have to pass 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.Minimum Marks: Minimum 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English

For B.Tech:

Qualifying Exam: Candidates have to clear 10+2/ equivalent examination.Subjects: Candidates have to qualify 10+2/ equivalent examination with PCM & English subjects.Minimum Marks: Candidates have to score at least 60% marks in PCM & 50% marks in English.
