In order to become an Architect you begin by doing undergraduation in Bachelor's of Architecture (B.Arch).
It is a five year course with 10 semesters in total. The top institutes that offer B.Arch in India are School of Planning (SPA's), National Institute of Technology (NIT's) and Indian Institute of Technology (IIT's). Inorder to get into these three colleges you will have to clear an entrance exam called Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
