The Indian Maritime University conducts the IMU CET exam at a national-level in CBT mode to offer admissions to various maritime courses.

Applications are held online, and the exam is conducted for a duration of 3 hours. Students who clear this exam are invited for further admission procedure.

The Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test ( IMU CET ) is a national-level entrance examination conducted in computer-based mode for admission to various maritime undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. These courses include B.Tech in Marine Engineering and B.Sc Nautical Science.

For the 2026 session, the IMU CET examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 24, 2026.
