The University of Calcutta conducts the Calcutta University Entrance Exam for admission to Post Graduate courses in the university. The exam will be conducted in the first week of July.

Application form of Calcutta University Entrance Examination for BA LLB degree will be available starting from the first week of June till the last week of June.

The University will release the merit list along with the category wise seat capacity in the second week of July.

The application form of University Entrance Examination for MA, M.Com or M.Sc. starting from the second week of July, till the third week of July.

The results will be declared by the second week of August.

The syllabus of the BA LLB entrance exam covers English, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Reasoning (Verbal & Non-Verbal) and General Mathematics. There are a total of 100 multiple choice questions. The exam goes on for two and a half hours, and the maximum marks are 100.

The syllabus of the entrance exam for MA, M.Com, M. Sc. have 50 multiple choice questions, with a +2, -0.5 marking scheme.
