JEE Mains Eligibility Criteria:-
Age Criteria:- Candidates must be more than 17 years and less than 25 years of age at the time of the exam.
Qualification Criteria:- Candidates must have cleared or appearing in 12th/equivalent exam with 5 subjects. For B. Tech Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology is mandatory. For B. Arch Mathematics with at least 50% in aggregate in 5 subjects.
Number of Attempts:- Applicants can appear for the exam a minimum of 3 times that too in consecutive years.

If you have dropped for 2 years, it's okay. That is the maximum number of attempts allowed. You can prepare for that much time and keep attempting simultaneously. Now, you can give the exams twice a year which is good as you have more time and more preparation.

Droppers can also be eligible for JEE Mains but in order to get admission in IIT/NIT/CFTIs you need above aggregate 75%. you should. Give improvement in board exams in all 5 Subjects.
