To become  district horticulture officer you can apply the examination conducted by State Public Service Commission. There are total 41 posts of District Horticulture Officer or Equivalent (Class-II) in Horticulture Department, Haryana.

You can apply for this post by filling the application form , on the official site http://hpsc.gov.in/en-us/ .

Basic eligibility criteria to appear for this exam is that you should have passed

1. 2nd Class M.Sc Horticulture from a recognized University.
2. Hindi/ Sanskrit upto Matric

OR

1. B.Sc (Hons.) in Agriculture with Horticulture including Floriculture, Promiculture, Olericulture or Sericulture as one of the subject or B.Sc Horticulture.
