SNAP is a national-level entrance examination and is conducted by Symbiosis International University. Its scores are primarily used for admission to 15 institutes under Symbiosis International University. SNAP is a computer-based exam and is held for two hours. It tests a candidate on:

NMAT is one of the important and popular MBA entrance exams offered by any private college. It is a computer-based exam, and is held over a 75-day testing window, between the month of October and December. students need to attempt 120 MCQs in 120 minutes. Students can appear for the exam for about three times and the best of three scores will be used for admission.

Usually colleges like Great Lakes, IIFT, MDI, FMS close their application forms the day CAT exam gets over or even before that. Hence, I advise you to be aware of their application dates before you miss them.

Once your exam are done you get an official answer key of the particular exam after 5 to 6 days you can check out the answers and have a fair idea of your marks in the exam. Even-though the exams are based on the percentile there would be cut-off given for the particular exam for the year of exam taken. The cut-offs do not vary much from year to year. The cut-offs are allitted based on the difficulty of the exam.
Only few colleges like XIMB, SP jain ,FMS, IMT,NITIE ask for to apply for the program before CAT. With respect to the cut-offs of the colleges and based on your calculated cut-offs you can go for applying for these colleges.
But many of the colleges ask to apply only after the announcement of the results.
So you have to be very careful before applying for the colleges without your results , if you are much confident about it then you can surely go for it.
Not only the scores they must match your profile and expectations.Most of the IIM colleges have registration deadline that ends before CAT. You need too apply for these colleges before hand.

There are some colleges whose application form ends before the CAT exams like SPJIMR, MDI GURGAON while FMS delhi has last date 25 November one day after CAT exam so, you have pretty sure about getting good percentile in CAT exams for filling the form of these colleges.
Cutoff for these colleges -:
SPJIMR - 95 percentile, 85 percentile (for excellent profile)
MDI GURGAON - 98-99 percentile
FMS DELHI - 99.5-100 percentile
Some other famous colleges like IMI Delhi has 2 December last date, FORE has 23 December its last date GIM has 15 December, IRMA has 10 January and KJ SOMAIYA has 14 January
GIM - CAT 87, XAT 81, and CMAT 98
KJ SOMAIYA - CAT 85, XAT 72,CMAT 98
IRMA - CAT 85, XAT 80 (For general candidates).
