The prestigious schools like St. Xavier, Delhi Public School, Mount Carmel etc. usually start releasing notifications in December while the form submissions begin in January followed by allotment or draw of lots in February or sometimes in mid January as well, this is for primary classes.

For class 11, forms usually are available in December or mid of January.

Documents required are birth certificate, photographs, residence proof, previous academic records like report card from past school, Transfer certificate and some other that might be school to school specific.
