I want to know whether student's presence is must or parents may go for self reporting after the seat allotment for fee payment & all??

Hello dear..

You have to pay the seat acceptance fee only ONCE.

If you have been allocated a seat in Round 1, and paid the seat acceptance fee at a reporting centre, but you prefer to ‘Slide’ and ‘Freeze’ a seat in the later rounds, then also you don’t have to pay the seat acceptance fee again.

And if you don’t accept any seat, once the seat allocation process is over JoSAA will give you a refund (after deducting Rs 1,000)..
