If you have a general scientific area of interest - such as Biology or Chemistry - then go there, because these two account for the bulk of Forensic Science as most people perceive it.

There are many specific disciplines within the umbrella term of Forensics, including Road Traffic Collisions; Computer forensics; Human Psychology / Behaviour; Forensic Archaeology etc etc.
