TS EAMCET General Eligibility:-
A common criterion for all the programs for Common Entrance Test (EAMCET 2019) Telangana is as follows:
On the basis of Nationality:-
Candidates must be a citizen of India.
Person of India Origin (PIO)/ Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) Card Holders are also eligible to apply.
On the basis of Domicile:-
Candidates should belong to the state of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
They should prove or satisfy the local / non– local status requirements as laid down in the Telangana / Andhra Pradesh by regulations of Admission. They should have the certificates as proof during the document verification as well as at the time of TS EAMCET Counselling. The documents are: Certificates from Class 8th ill Intermediate/ 10+2 certificates.
On the basis of Age:-
There is no Upper Age Limit for any of the courses.
One must have completed at least 17 years of age at the time of admissions.
TS EAMCET Stream-wise Eligibility:-
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad or JNTUH has segregated eligibility standards as per courses offered. Listed below is the criterion for the exam as per the program opted:
For Engg., Bio- Tech., B.Tech (Dairy Tech.), B.Tech (Ag. Engg.), B. Pharmacy, B.Tech (Food Sc. and Tech.) /B.Sc. (Commercial Agri. & Business Mgt.)
Qualifying Exam: Candidates passed or appeared in 10+2 exam or any other exam recognized as equivalent with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology as optional subject from any recognized board of Telangana/Andhra Pradesh along with bridge course or courses conducted by Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh for candidates enrolled during 2000-2002. Or
Candidates must have passed or appeared in final year of a diploma in engineering from any recognized board of Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have cleared the qualifying exam with a minimum of 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category).
For B.Tech (Dairy Technology/Agri. Engg./FST) and B.Sc. (CA & BM), candidates must be17 years of age or more as or on December 31, 2019
The upper limit for admission to courses mentioned in the previous point is 22 years for general candidates and 25 years for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribes as or on December 31, 2019.
