First thing I let you know that the actual preparation will start when you do the syllabus of jee mains.

Now you have time to understand the basic stuffs of many topics which will be in jee syllabus which will help you to make strong base . It also helps you to think in a broader way and helps to sharp your mind.

So go deeply in the subjects and try to understand the concepts donot cram any formula but practice it a lot . first you should cover NCERT and then you can move to other books which provide a good quality stuff and some extra concepts also and most important thing your teacher must be good who taught you concepts not give a way to just score marks.

Pearson, SChand, RD sharma , Xam idea ( for practice only) and you may use notes of any good Institute.

This is the list applicable for IX class only and these books have some interesting concepts that will help you nurture the problem solving.
