To get admission into any IIT you need to clear JEE mains and then clear JEE ADVANCED, clearing the exam won't guarantee you admission for that if you want admission into old top IITs then you have to get a good rank above 500 if you are happy with good IITs aroung 2k inJEE ADVANCED will get you a seat in IIT with computer science engineering.
