Yes, it is possible to switch to electrical branch from the current branch, but is only possible, if you are in first year.

There are certain first year result criteria (like if you have scored more than 90% in both semesters) which needs to be satisfied to be eligible for branch change. You can ask your mentor or seniors for minimum eligibility.

Once you become eligible, you can checkout your college notice board, when branch switching form is going to be released. You can also talk to your class coordinator.

Once the form is filled with your favorite branch, you will be readmitted to that branch from second year on-wards.
