Candidates seeking admission to the undergraduate programs offered at Government Medical College Amritsar may do so through the official college website. In addition to it, candidates should also register for the entrance examination through the relevant website within the stipulated time.

• Candidates should have passed at 10+2 level in the science stream to apply.
• Candidate must be at least 17 years if age as on the 31st of December of the year of admission.
• Candidates must have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology.
• 85% of seats are awarded on the basis of performance in Punjab Medical Entrance Test.
• The remaining 15% seats are kept aside for those applying through scores obtained in the AIIMS examination.
• Reservation is done in accordance with the regulations of the Government.
