JEE is joint entrance examination conducted for taking admission to various engineering graduate programs across the country.
Eligibility for this exam is that student must have passed class 12th with above 75% marks or within the top 20 percentile of their board considering it for a general student.
Exam is conducted in two phase:-
1.jee mains
2.jee advanced
In jee mains there are three subject physics chemistry and math each of which contains 30 question and total of 90 question and 360 marks. For every correct answer candidate is awarded 4 marks and for wrong answer there is negative marking of 1 marks. There is no negative mark for unattempted question. It's syllabus is same as class 11th and 12 th with some extra subtopic.
Those students who clears cutoff in jee main are allowed to appear for jee advanced. In jee advanced there are two paper with total of 372 marks each exam is of 166 marks and 3 hours for each. Each of two paper consist total of 60 question 20 each from physics, chemistry and mathematics. There is also negative marking based on type of questions.
