I will suggest you to deal with the course seriously and aim atleast a CGPA of 8.5 every semester.

Secondly you should start learning and cultivating interest in new technologies like IoT, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence as well as gain skills like Software and Web Development. Try bagging internships and projects right from your second year, besides being serious with your curriculum.
