Dear aspirant, If you don't appear in jee advance this year,you will be allowed to appear in 2021 and 2022. Yes, you are allowed to appear for upcoming years. Only those candidates who were born on or after 1st October 1997, aren't eligible to apply in JEE Advanced 2021.

SC/ST/PWD category students these were provided with a chanceof 5 years.And also only those students who are among the top 2,50,000 rank holders in JEE Main 2021 are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced 2021.Based on your qualifing mark according to your category.

For JEE Advanced, you get one less attempt than JEE Main(3 attempts). So, the total number of attempts(years) for JEE Advanced is two. One in the passing year of JEE Advanced and the other one is in succeeding year.

Now coming back to your question, see if you have given improvement exam in 2021 and your original 12th exam was in 2020 but you were not satisfied by your result or failed then you will not get chance in 2022 JEE Advanced exam. But you are freshly giving 12th exam in 2021 I mean not giving improvement or with not that same old admission of 2020 then you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2021.
