Hello, You will have computing techniques in your first year itself. The syllabus will be from scratch itself. But if you insist in learning before hand starting form C language and HTML is advisable. You can learn the basics from 11 and 12th board syllabus. Then in upcoming years you will be introduced to C++, Java and python.

Hope this helps.

Dear student,

If you are opting for CS and IT branch in some college, then it is must that you know programming languages. There is no need to learn many programming languages. But the main thing is that, whatever programming language you are doing, do it perfectly. As a first year student, you can start with C Programming. After completing this, you can move to C++, Java and Python also. Also, the most important thing for CS students is to learn the Data Structures and Algorithms. But you can learn it in 2nd year.

Hope it helps.
