Nursing graduates wishing to join Indian Navy as a nurse must possess a certificate of training in an approved Hospital as a Nurse and must be registered as a fully trained nurse in Medical and Surgical Nursing and Midwifery. Aspirants can apply through M ilitary Nursing Service (MNS) as a commissioning nurse either for a short period of service or permanent service. The selection is based on written exam results, personal interview and medical examination.
