Dear Student,

GATE is a PG level exam you need to complete your graduation first. 

If you are interested in engineering you need to crack UG level exam first like JEE (Main+Advanced) to take admission in IITs/NITs/IIITs and GFTIs. 

There are many private level entrance exam like VIT, SRM, BITSAT, Manipal and Amrita.

First, try to get admission in top colleges in engineering to get good placements and knowledge as there is lot of competition afterwards you can prepare for GATE exam.
