50-70 Mela is still a low score even got sc category. But yes you might have chances of getting some low NIT colleges in the last rounds of admission. But yeah life doesn't run on myths. O personally suggest you you have to match the standards of NITs so try to score your best some above 100.

If you are confident that you will score 50-70 marks in JEE Mains, I am really very sorry to say that getting a CSE branch in NITs will a bit difficult. But by your category rank you can get another branches. I am also very sorry to say that even getting a good NIT will also be a difficult task too.

But don't let your morale down, when things seems a bit tough, you should just try one more time, and definitely you'll get success. I would suggest that you prepare well for the next time and next time definitely you'll get better marks.
