Let's say you failed your Intermediate in 2020. You will appear again and clear the exams either in compartment exams or next year by 2021. That will be your passing year. You need to secure a minimum aggregate of 75% or 65% based on your Category to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced along with securing the qualifying percentile in JEE Mains. If you are able to meet this criteria, the year you pass your 12th will be taken into consideration and JEE Advanced criteria will be calculated accordingly.
