I want to inform you that year back system is for all University if you will not study then you will definitely get year back and it's not  University responsibility that they will pass you even if you don't study.
So take this thought out of your mind that VTU will not have any year back system..

Dear student, there is no year back system for be student in VTU. The exams are  conducted semester wise in this university, and if you have a back in any of the subject you will have to reappear it at the end of the examination or in the next month. You will be promoted on the basis of the same.
