For first year in Engineering, the courses taught are same irrespective of branch which includes subjects like, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Computer programming, Engineering mechanics and Electronics and electrical engineering.

However, from the second year the core subjects for Chemical engineering are included such as Organic chemistry, Mechanics of solid, Physical chemistry, Fluid mechanics, Chemical process industries, Chemical engineering thermodynamics, Chemical process calculations, Mechanical operations and Environmental science and engineering.

Chemical Engineering students study about Maths, Physics and Chemistry. It is all about the study of physical and chemical Processes. Irrespective of the Stream, All the subjects are same for first year Engineering Students. One will study Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Drawing, C language, English, One Core related Subject in the first year of Engineering. For Chemical Engineering Students the Engineering subjects are Manufacturing/Operations, Manufacturing, Research Engineering , Inorganic and physical Chemistry, organic Chemical technology, chemical reaction Engineering and others. Some Mechanical subjects are also involved in this Stream like Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and fluid Mechanics.
