Whichever course you will opt for will require you to have a combination of subjects. So you cannot just take up only biology .
Graduation courses from biology include
B.Sc. Life Sciences: It has Biology along with chemistry
B.Sc. Honors Zoology and B.Sc. Honors Botany: Core subject is biology only but to pursue M.Sc. you need to pass at least two chemistry papers to be eligible to appear for M.Sc. entrance which means you will have to study chemistry for two semesters.
B.Sc. Biochemistry:  As evidenct from the name you will have to study chemistry.

Likewise all the graduation courses of Biology will require you to take up subject combinations
Even in MBBS, Nursing etc you will have to study chemistry.

No course will guarantee you 1 lakh salary by direct placement. It depends entirely on your college what all companies they call for recruitment, your performance during the course and your passion.
