Hello aspirant,
Yes you can study ,but there will not be any topics that you will be encountered in biology .
Field is completely different .
To pursue in IIT's if you are really interested then you need to write JEE exam .
Based on your marks ,it depends
I suggest ,it will be much little difficult to software side
