Hello Sarah. I hope you are doing well. You mentioned the candidate belongs to SC category and you want to know whether he has any chance to secure a seat for MBBS at any Government Medical College under 85% State Quota.

You mentioned the candidate's expected score is 446 out of 720. Based on this marks, your overall percentile ends up around 90.82 - 91.32 and your AIR may end up somewhere around 137541 - 169691 considering difficulty of the paper to be moderate.

Based on his performance in NEET UG 2021, he has good chances in various medical colleges, especially in Private medical colleges under State Quota (Government Quota seats), namely:

  1. ICARE Institute of Medical Science and Research and Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy Hospital, Haldia (2020 Cutoff Score - 432)
  2. IQ City Medical College and Narayana Multispeciality Hospital, Durgapur  (2020 Cutoff Score - 435 )
  3. Jagannath Gupta Institute of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Kolkata  (2020 Cutoff Score - 435 )
  4. KPC Medical College and Hospital, Jadavpur (may get) (2020 Cutoff Score - 449)
  5. Shri Ramkrishna Institute of Medical Sciences, Durgapur (2020 Cutoff Score - 426)

Apart from MBBS, he has good chances to grab a seat for BDS at various Government and Private Dental Colleges in West Bengal.
