If a candidate appears for the improvement examination and scores more than 75 percentage marks in aggregate then he/ she is eligible to get admission into IITs, NITs or GFTIs provided the candidate has also secured the rank in the qualifying JEE or JEE ADVANCED entrance examination which is enough to get him/ her a seat in that college through counselling.
