Hello Raj, if you get admission for B.Tech CSE in a private college in 2025 but have a compartment in Class 12 Chemistry, you can still continue your studies provided you clear the compartment in the next attempt, as you mentioned in 2026. Most private colleges allow provisional admission on this basis, but you must submit proof of passing the compartment exam within the deadline they set (often before the second semester). As for placements or jobs after graduation, employers generally only require that you have cleared your 12th and have no “backlogs” in your degree. Since Chemistry is not a core subject for CSE, once you clear it and have your complete Class 12 pass certificate, it should not create problems in future. Just make sure to keep all your mark sheets in order.
