If both the mock seat allotments are not allotted in josaa should I go for CSAB directly or wait for actual allocation

If both the mock seat allotments in JoSAA do not give you a seat, you should not panic or rush directly to CSAB just yet. The mock allotments are only for your reference; they help you understand your chances but do not decide your final seat. You should definitely wait for the actual JoSAA seat allocation rounds because the real allotment can be different from the mock rounds. Many students change their choices, some withdraw, and some get upgraded in each round, so the seat movement can create opportunities that mock allotments cannot fully predict. If after a few actual rounds you still don’t get a seat, then you can consider applying through CSAB as the next step.
