If I am in top 20% in 2019 exam for 12th but have >75% can I get admission in NIT/IIT in 2020 if I take a drop or will I have to get 75%?

Hi Vivek Patil!!

Actually you can get admission because sometimes it is not necessary to get above 75% and it is enough to get above 65% sometimes. So I think you can get admission. Don't waste your entire year for that

Hey Vivek,
To get admission in NIT/IIT, you have to score either 75% or be in the top 20 percentile in your class 12tg board exams in the year itself in which you have given the exams. So, if you were in the top 20 percentile this year, and if you take drop, then you need not to give 12th exam again.
