If i am in top 20 percentile of last year did i need to take boards exam again for jee or not?

see the minimum marks required is 75%. as you are in the top 20 percentile this means 80% therefore it is enough for jee mains admission in any nit. so you don't need to take board exam again. go for the counselling for jee mains . you will get an nit if your marks is good.

As you were in the top 20 percentile of your board last year ,you do not need to take the board examinations again for JEE Main or JEE Advanced .
