Hello dear student,

Greetings!

Yes of course it is ok to go for basic Maths if you want to pursue science stream with PCB in your 11th and 12th as maths is not required for PCB science, so there will be no problem.

But if you want to take PCM in future and want to prepare for JEE and IIT etc then you need to take standard maths.
