You haven't mentioned the exam you are enquiring here, assuming that you are enquiring regarding JEE Main application form as there is provision to fill the declaration form in Lieu Of General-EWS. So if you do not have General-EWS certificate for now you can take the print out of the 'DECLARATION BY THE CANDIDATE IN LIEU OF GEN-EWS CERTIFICATE' attached in Annexure IB in page 47 in JEE Main 2022 Information Brochure. You need to fill the details, scan it and upload it in the place of General-EWS certificate. You will be considered as EWS candidate however, you need to obtain the certificate and submit it at the time of admission. The certificate must be issued on or after January 1, 2022. If you do not provide the certificate at the time of admission you will not be considered as EWS candidate.
