National legal Universities (NLUs) in India will administer the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2026 for undergraduate and graduate legal programs.  The anticipated date of the CLAT Exam 2026 is December 14, 2025.  According to the NIRF rankings 2024, there are 16 Indian NLUs among the top government law schools.

Procedures for NLU Admission Using CLAT 2025
Go to the official website of the consortium.
Finish registering for CLAT 2025.
Take the CLAT exam and get a good score. To participate in the CLAT 2025 counseling process, register.
Complete the NLU preferences.
Publication of the allocation
