For JEE Advanced a student is eligible for two consecutive attempts. The first attempt is on the year of your 12th i.e., 2022 and the second attempt you will be eligible for is on 2023. So you are not eligible for the JEE ADVANCED 2024.

JEE MAINS have 3 attempts available. The first attempt is applicable for the 12th appearing year i.e., 2022 and the next two attempts will be 2023,2024. So you are eligible for JEE MAINS 2024 but not eligible for JEE Advanced 2024.

So, I took a drop year to make it into NIT. Then, after taking drop year, I didnt qualify in mains. So, as well as I didnt qualify to write JEE advanced. So, I took another drop year. Its my second drop year now,in 2025. So, in the consecutive years after finishing my 12th , I didnt write any JEE advanced exam.
