Since psychology is the study of human mind and behavior, it has numerous applications in all walks of life- work, family, relationships, sports and so on. As a result, one has the option to choose from a varied range of specializations, including counseling psychology, clinical psychology, organizational/industrial psychology etc. 

Starting salary for Bachelors is 8k-10k and Masters is 15–18k. If you are lucky you might get 20–25k. As for M.Phil your starting would be 25–28k and if you are lucky max. 30k. Doctorate do get paid better. Their starting is 30–35k going upto 45–50k.
