Pharmacy is a good option and one of the most popular fields among biology students.

B. Pharm is a 4 year course. Eligibility for B. Pharm is that you pass your 10+2 examinations with at least 50% having biology or biotechnology as one of your subjects.

The various examinations conducted in different states are like WBJEE, GJCET, MHTCET, GCET, etc. Other examinations are also conducted by different institutions individually like BITSAT.

After completion of the course, you can practice as a pharmacist. You can also pursue other courses like M.Sc., M. Pharm, MBA, etc.

So overall, if you are interested in pharmaceuticals, yes it is a good option to pursue.

B.pharma is an undergraduate degree course.The duration of the course is 4 years.The students who want to make their career in medical field except doctors can opt for this course.As we all know that every field has its own merits and demerits so you should choose that course in which you have a interest, don't get pressurised,after all it's your life and your decision so think wisely before you opt any course.As in this course you have to mainly deal with the drugs and medicines, chemistry, pharmaceutical engineering etc.
The eligibility criteria for getting admission to B.pharma course is-
1) student must have passed class 12th with  physics, chemistry and biology or maths
2) students have to secure atleast 50% marks in the 12th board exams
3) those students who have pass their diploma are also eligible
Admission to this course is generally based on the entrance exam.you can apply for national level or state level entrance exam like for national level you have to give graduate pharmacy aptitude test(GPAT) while for state level you can give WBJEE,BCECE,TS EAMCET etc.Other than these there are few private universities which conduct their own entrance exams.
Few institutions are also there which provide you direct admission on the basis of 12th board exam.

2) Pharma.D- most of us are not heard of this as it is mainly practised in foreign.It has a very important role in healthcare in foreign
3) MBA- with a degree of MBA hospital and health care management,you will get variety of career options other than medicine
If you want to do job just after completing your B.pharma then you can opt-
1) most common job is in Pharmaceutical industry or clinical research organisations
2) you can be a pharmacist in government or private hospitals
3) another option is to do marketing job as it is the most important part of pharmaceutical companies
4) another option is to have your own pharmacy shop.
Now come to your last query,the salary in this profession varies from company to company so on an average it will be around 15000 to 20000,if you have joined as an fresher and with experience it will be rise upto 50000 to 70000 per month.i hope this information helps you.
