There is a simple concept of the counselling rounds that if you allotted the institute in the first round then you need to confirm your admission in that institute by paying the fees and by varifying the documents at the respective institute. If you do not do that then your allotted seat will be cancelled and you may have to lose your security deposite. You can go for the further rounds of the counselling if you think that you can get the better seat and thre is no restriction but you need to be careful in filling the choices. If you are not joning the upgraded college then your seat will be cancelled and it will be treated as a vacant seat. You can take the part in the further counselling rounds.
