Yes, you can get admission in a college but you still have to give compartment exam for your failed subject. Compartment exams are re examination where you have to give the failed subject again with the same syllabus. The compartment exams are usually easier than the board examinations.

You may find a college that will accept your failure in one subject but you won't be able to get admissions in certain colleges.
